Corrigan Custom Painting has been painting clay and concrete tile roofs across Sarasota and the Gulf Coast for more than 25 years. Faded, blotchy, mildew-streaked tile comes back to the deep terracotta, warm sand or bright white it had the day the house was built.

Our tile roof process
- Walk the roof and note any cracked or slipped tiles for you to have a roofer address first
- Low-pressure wash to strip mildew, algae, dirt and chalk
- Primer matched to the tile material so the color bonds evenly
- Two sprayed finish coats in the color you approved
- Final inspection, gutter and ground clean-up, before-and-after photos
Colors and finishes
Most tile roofs go back to their original terracotta or a slightly deeper tone, but we also do white and light gray finishes that reflect more sun, plus custom colors to match HOA schemes. We will bring color samples to the estimate and can paint a test section so you see it on your own roof before we commit.

How long does tile roof painting take?
Most single-family tile roofs are washed, primed and painted in two to five days depending on size, pitch and weather.
Will painting my tile roof make it last longer?
Painting renews the surface color and gives the tile a clean, uniform finish. It is a cosmetic paint service. For questions about the structural life of your roof, a roofing contractor is the right call, and we are glad to work alongside one.
Does the HOA need to approve the color?
Often, yes. We work with HOAs regularly and can supply color chips and product data sheets for your architectural review.
