Metal Roof Painting in Sarasota & Southwest Florida

Dull, rusty or chalky metal panels sprayed back to bright silver, white or a custom color.

Metal roofs are everywhere on the Gulf Coast, from mobile home communities in Bradenton and Venice to standing seam roofs on new construction. They all fade the same way: the factory finish chalks, rust streaks show at the fasteners, and the whole roof turns a tired gray. We wash the panels, treat the rust spots, prime and spray a new finish that shines again.

Metal roofs we paint

  • Mobile home and manufactured home roofs, including carports and lanai covers
  • Corrugated and ribbed panels on homes and outbuildings
  • Standing seam metal roofs
  • Commercial metal roofs on shops, warehouses and storage buildings
  • Metal awnings and screen room roofs

How we prep metal

Metal only holds paint if the prep is right. We pressure wash the chalk and mildew off, wire-brush and spot-prime rusted areas, then prime the full surface where the old finish is worn through. The finish goes on in even sprayed coats, usually bright silver or white for reflectivity, or a color if you prefer.

Mobile home communities

We work in mobile home parks across Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties week in and week out, and we know the rules: quiet setup, no overspray on the neighbor's carport, and everything cleaned up before we leave. Ask about pricing when several neighbors book together.

Metal Roof Painting questions

What color should I paint my metal roof?

Bright silver and white are the most popular because they reflect the sun and look clean from the street. We also do custom colors to match trim or HOA requirements.

Can you paint over rust?

Surface rust is brushed back and spot-primed before the finish goes on. Panels that are rusted through or loose are a job for a roofing contractor, and we will point them out rather than paint over them.

How long does a mobile home roof take?

Usually one day for the wash and one day for the paint, weather permitting.
