About us
Three generations of painters. One phone number.
Corrigan Custom Painting LLC is a family-owned painting company in Sarasota, Florida, founded in 1997 by Joe Corrigan. Joe is a third-generation painter, and the company still runs the way it started: the owner does the estimate, works the job, and answers the phone.
Joe learned the trade from his father and grandfather, and started Corrigan Custom Painting to serve Sarasota and the Gulf Coast with the kind of exterior work that holds up in Florida weather. Over the years the company found its specialty: roofs. Tile, metal and flat roofs fade faster here than almost anywhere in the country, and painting them back to full color turned into the work our customers ask for most.
Today we paint roofs and exteriors from Tampa Bay to Naples, on everything from mobile homes in Bradenton and Venice to waterfront estates on Siesta Key and Longboat Key. We keep the crew small and experienced, use premium Sherwin-Williams exterior products, and put every estimate in writing.
We are painters, and we are proud of that. We are not a roofing company and we do not pretend to be one. If your roof needs a roofer, we will tell you so before we start, because a good paint job on a bad roof helps nobody.

How we work
The same four steps on every job.

Free estimate
Joe comes out, walks the roof or the exterior with you, and leaves a written price. No pressure, no surprises.

Wash & prep
Pressure washing, patching, priming and masking. This is where a paint job is won or lost, so we do not rush it.
03
Paint
Sprayed and back-rolled finish coats in the color you approved, applied by the same crew that did the prep.
04
Walkthrough
We inspect the work with you, clean up completely, and send photos. You call us if anything is not right.
